Sooekal was orphaned at a young age and was forced to grow up on the streets battling it out with pockets of gangs for essentials just to survive. It seemed like he’d been born in an abandoned building in Sub’ Nar, near nothing and no one. In fact if you asked him, he would tell a rather gruesome tale about his mother and the delivery. Since he was young he had to travel into Mag’ Nar’s Corner to earn a wage to feed himself and some of his closest allies. He seemed to see trouble before it even started and that was a trait some accredited as his birthright while others sited a potion. It didn’t take long before he was noticed by government officials for his incredibly keen senses. They planted a tiny device on him to gather intelligence on the happenings of some of the citizens of Mag’ Nar that managed to escape their monitoring systems. There are many rumors as to which side recruited him but suffice it to say he hasn’t been to the Corner on personal business in some time.
She’s one hot mamma but don’t tick her off because she’s known how to use a gun as long as she could remember. She was born blind but her parents paid a man to help her see through a highly secretive and advanced nanotechnology. When he’d brought her back he’d made several dark references to the cost of the surgery. When her parents tried to offer money the man completely refused and took off laughing. In the following days and weeks, her vision became so perfect it was hard for her family to live with her so they surrendered her to government housing. The first time she climbed to the top of Meka Arena she could see so far that she knew this was where she needed to be at. She suddenly felt at home and the entire time her guns simply followed her.
Zar’ Nal was just another recruit when it suddenly became evident that she wanted to move through the ranks quickly. No one ever saw her without her uniform or mask so the species she belongs to is a bit of a mystery, if she’s a species at all. Those that get the pleasure of hearing her bark commands know that her voice is distinctly female and it is impossible to refuse. She keeps the citizens from running astray or foolishly battling potential allies. Her work takes a lot of research into differing political affiliations of the clans and species on Mag’ Nar. There are some who would just call it gossip. Nonetheless, this makes it quite vital for her to seek out information and leave no stone unturned as she does so. She is a busy lady so unless you have something to tell her stay out of her way.
Salzar was an orphan from the first wave of the Extinction Wars. The waves of destruction had been so intense and overwhelming that many survivors were left to navigate the streets and try to get out to safety. More than one survivor referred to it as the maze. As the buildings and structures fell to the floor, paths were created or destroyed. Salzar, then but a teenager had first discovered one survivor then another. Before long he had a following of more than a hundred survivors trying to get out of the ruined city. Turn after turn the young Salzar approached each with confidence when suddenly he brought everyone out into the fresh air. After they had taken the time to weep at their home decimated they dubbed Salzara Lord and swore to get him recognition. Before long he was set up with his own private area in Sub’ Nar where people could test their skills. Some say he is the wealthiest man in all of Sub’ Nar, perhaps even all of Loreaon.
That’s right- Nobel Prize winner. Luscious Armstrong is famous in Mag’ Nar because he is descended from many who have spent years studying and learning about engineering and many of the finer details involved. Here is an individual who is more than able to help you when you need assistance but would much rather see how ingenious you can be in trying to figure it out yourself. He was responsible for pioneering many of the planets capable of sustaining life. It was during this time that the need for vehicles that could travel further distances at a much faster pace became critical. His great-grand father was the first to create a ship that could break the speed of light and his parents were responsible for developing major advances in the field of transport as well. It was fated that from the very moment Luscious Armstrong started picking up tools he was able to fix things and construct brand new items out of piles of what many would consider scrap metal.
There aren’t many things that Jet Arm hasn’t done in her long life. Don’t let that fool you about her though; she still carries a smile on her face while taking the ore right out of your pockets. One of the most important things to remember when you meet her is that she is starving for ore. Though she’s been in the mines most her life she hasn’t ever received enough to feel satisfied with the ore she’s collected. More than one citizen and armed official have run across her only to find she has craftily lifted an item or more from them without their having a clue. In this way she has managed to carve out quite a nice living for herself.
Rorey comes from a sketchy background. She earned her reputation by commanding a presence in the clan wars as a member of the Dark Alley Harbors Thieves. She saw a need for healing her brothers and sisters so they would live to fight another day. She worked hard mixing many different items together creating potions that were able to heal or help a person become stronger or more agile. She also created many other mysterious elixirs that brought out hidden traits in the Co’Vark when they drank deeply of them. It was only after this skill was discovered that she landed her current commanding position.
It has been said that old man Saul could find his way around the mines blind-folded and certainly he was able to do so before many had even heard of the mines. He was part of the initial Co-Habitation protocol. Because of this it is said that Saul still carries a lot of species prejudice around on his broad shoulders. Those that have spent hours with him in the mines or sharing a few drinks with him after their shifts would quickly agree.
Welman got in more trouble than the average citizen because he had a knack for lighting fires and blowing things up across Mag’ Nar. Many of the older rumors say he was very young during the time of the Extinction Wars and therefore had a lot of trouble getting anyone to take him seriously when he wanted to enlist to protect his home. So he took it into his own hands. With a few bits from under the kitchen sink, some parts from his computer and an old, broken down hovercraft outside he created a bomb. This explosive travelled all the way to headquarters directly for the largest wing of the army in charge of tearing down the neighborhood. It decimated hundreds on impact. Needless to say, he gained a whole lot of attention then. He even did a little time in the prison system for the action. No one knows for sure how he got out but he’s back to his old tricks.
Found rummaging around the different piles of broken armor, General Bam’s Assistant had created a small shelter before he was stumbled upon by several officers recruiting people to swell the ranks of General Bam’s private army. The man was brought to Bam because they weren’t sure if they should classify the man as a thief and throw him in the jail or place him on the line. Bam believed he saw a great deal of potential when he first laid eyes on his new assistant. As usual, the General’s insight was spot on. His assistant came with unlimited potential for following the orders of the man leading the toughest military. Seems he had a nose for sniffing out the big dog and aligning himself accordingly.
